Dre’s journey with Central IT began two decades ago in the build room, where he was hands-on fixing machines and ensuring our systems ran smoothly. His hard work, technical expertise, and drive for excellence propelled him through the ranks, eventually becoming our Operations Director. Dre’s growth mirrors the growth of Central IT, and his dedication has been an integral part of our success.
His influence extends beyond the office walls. Dre’s leadership, camaraderie, and infectious positivity have created a ripple effect that continues to motivate everyone at Central IT. Whether he’s mentoring new team members, troubleshooting complex challenges, or simply sharing a laugh during lunch, Dre embodies the spirit of Central IT.
A Message from Dre
Twenty years ago, my journey with Central IT Solutions began in the most unexpected way. A simple trip to a local computer shop for blank CDs and DVDs led me to notice a small sign in the window advertising a workshop position. On a whim, I applied—and that decision became the foundation of my career.
I started in the workshop, building and repairing computers, which helped me develop vital technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of customer needs. Over the years, I worked my way through every department, from providing remote and on-site support to handling sales and managing accounts. Each role taught me how every part of the business contributes to our overall success.
I want to especially acknowledge my best friend and business partner, Steve Cole. His support, guidance, and shared vision have been essential throughout this journey. Together, we’ve navigated challenges, celebrated successes, and built something truly special.
Today, I’m proud to serve as Operations Director, managing the daily operations of a company that feels like family. I’ve seen Central IT grow and adapt, embracing cutting-edge tools and solutions from leading vendors like Acronis Cloud for backup, WatchGuard for security, and Cambium for networking. We’ve also achieved significant certifications such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus. But what truly stands out is our team’s dedication and passion for supporting our clients.
Looking back on the last two decades, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities, growth, and relationships I’ve built. I’m excited for the future and what’s ahead for Central IT Solutions as we continue to evolve and lead in this ever-changing industry.
